Modifying a DBox Cable to Satellite

Should be unnessesary to mention, but:
Your warranty will be voided by doing this modification!!
This modification is quite difficult, so it should only be attempted by people having sufficient knowledge
in electronics, esp. with SMD technology.
In the placement drawings the colors mean:
The parts marked RED are to be added.
The parts marked GREEN
must be checked to be present and of correct value, and to be corrected/added if not.

Step by step modification:
- do the part changes from the list below
- change the cable tunerboard of your receiver has to a SAT tuner board
- drill a hole in the back of the DBox for the LNB connector.
- Check for RC28 being present and RC29 for NOT being present (both located on the bottom side
beneath the connector to the tunerboard). If not → move them accordingly!
- do not forget the heatsink on the LM317T!!!!
- adjust the software accordingly
